April poetry month One a Day for the month of April. napomo # III & # IV

            unbox-able

           romantic love -  in love chic-lit
rom-com
    sentimental heart breaking 
                story-book.   

keep from me.    i see mother and cubs instinctual love
	the nurturing teat-milk-kind.  
freedom 
	to be
                       the animal in them.    

	creative. driven. devouring.  sculptor
   to stone   cast in bronze.     unforgiving.  in it ambition
          yet we forgive 
		for ever and ever those we love.
 
       constrictive.    free and tender.    the lioness
cuffs her cubs.   
	 stay out of danger.   
		    learn pain.  
			be part of the pride. 

		there is no pride in love. 	
      would that poetry or music  outline its perfection. 
     		Shakespeare.    a rose  - yet it's not a word
definable.  an emotion unbox-able.   it sells.  it creates.   
	driven by it.    it.   
 
		it is the reason we are here

 rings of the stuff of stars

in the night sky
we watch explosions
nuclear fusion.   so pretty 
out there in the ineffable 
blackness.  
our wedding bands 
ancient as the cosmos
material from 
a supernova
how the pressure 
of our own nebulae. dust 
of longing.  molecules of trust.
the glowing of us.  how everything
we are is all and ever will be
a mystical fusion of souls
